BIG L.He Was On Course To Be Bigger Than Jay Z but He Was Shot 9 Times In The Face. Why?
Lamont Coleman was a rapper from New York in the late 80s through the 90s. He was known for his fierce freestyles and battle rap skills. His most famous tracks are Danger Zone and a radio freestyle session with Jay Z.
But there is a lot to Big L that the world doesn't know.Firstly, he was affiliated with drug crews running around in Harlem in the 80s.
His Elder brother Lee was a strong memeber of a notorious gang called NFL (Niggaz For Life) from 139th street.
This was the place described by Big L in his Danger Zone track.NFL was formed originally by 3 guys named Lee (Big L's brother) Reg and TC.
They were well known and widely respected in Harlem.
Years went by and things soured between the friends and they began hunting each other.
Lee was sent to prison for a crime and while in prison, he planned to take out his rivals in the drug game.He sent his younger brother (Big L)to identify the target so the hitman could do the job.
Unfortunately, the hitman botched the job and the target escaped but word got back that Big L was seen with the hitman days earlier.
On February 15th 1999, Big L ws shot 9 times in the face and died.
And that was how the world lost a rapper with one of the biggest talent and potential to reach the highest heights in Rap Music.
RIP BIG L.Gone but never forgotten

AGAINST ALL ODDS.TUPAC'S MOST AGGRESSIVE SONG.Rappers and non rappers get dissed
Do you know how many people were dissed on Tupac's infamous track "Against All Odds"
After the Quad studio shooting, Tupac survived it and flipped on everyone he used to hang out with.Quite a few people got the raw end of his whip.Look at these lyrics.
One love, one love, one thug
One nation, twenty-one gun salute
I'm hopin my true motherfuckers know
This be the realest shit I ever wrote
Against all odds, up in the studio, gettin blowed
To the truest shit I ever spoke
Twenty-one gun salute, dressed in fatigue, black jeans and boots
Disappeared in the crowd, all you seen was troops
This little nigga named Nas thinks he live like me
Talkin bout he left the hospital took five like me
You living fantasies, nigga I reject your deposit
We shook Dre punk ass, now we out of the closet
Mobb Deep wonder why nigga blowed them out
Next time grown folks talk, nigga close your mouth
Peep me, I take this war shit deeply
Done seen too many real players fall to let these bitch niggas beat me
Puffy lets be honest you a punk or you will see me with gloves
Remember that shit you said to Vibe about me bein a thug
You can tell the people you roll with whatever you want
But you and I know what's going on
Payback, I knew you bitch niggas from way back
Witness me strapped with Macs, knew I wouldn't play that
All you old rappers trying to advance
It's all over now, take it like a man
Niggas lookin like Larry Holmes, flabby and sick
Tryin to player hate on my shit, you eat a fat dick
Let it be known this is how you made me
Lovin how I got you niggas crazy
Against all odds
Hopin my thug motherfuckers know
This be the realest shit I ever wrote
Against all odds, up in the studio, gettin blowed
To the truest shit I ever spoke, against all odds
Hopin my true motherfuckers know
This be the realest shit I ever wrote
I heard he was light skinned, stocky with a Haitian accent
Jewelery, fast cars and he's known for flashing (What's his name???)
Listen while I take you back (NIGGA SAY HIS NAME!) and lace this rap
A real live tale about a snitch named Haitian Jack
Knew he was workin for the feds, same crime, different trials
Nigga, picture what he said, and did I mention
Promised a payback, Jimmy Henchman, in due time
I know you bitch niggas is listenin, The World Is Mine
Set me up, wet me up, niggas stuck me up
Heard the guns bust but you tricks never shut me up
Touch one of mine on everything I own
I'll destroy everything you touch, play the game nigga
All out warfare, eye for eye
Last words to a bitch nigga, "WHY YOU LIE?!?"
Now you gotta watch your back, now watch your front
Here we come, gunshots too Tutt, now you stuck
Fuck the rap game, nigga this M-O-B
So believe me we enemies,
I go against all odds
I'm hopin my true motherfuckers know
This be the realest shit I ever wrote
Against all odds, up in the studio, gettin blowed
To the truest shit I ever spoke
I'm hopin my true motherfuckers know
This be the realest shit I ever wrote
Against all odds
Puffy gettin robbed like a bitch, to hide the fact
he did some shit he shouldn't have did, so we ride em for that
And that nigga that was down for me, restin dead
Switch sides, guess his new friends wanted him dead
Probably be murdered for the shit that I said
I bring the real, be a legend, breathin the dead
Lord listen to me
God don't like ugly, It Was Written
(ey yo Nas) Nas, your whole damn style is bitten
You heard my melody, read about my life in the papers
All my run-ins with authorities, felonious capers
Now you wanna live my life, so what's the answer Nas?
Niggas that don't rhyme right, you've seen too many movies
Load em up against the wall, close his eyes
Since you lie you die, GOODBYE
Let the real live niggas hear the truth from me
What would you do if you was me nigga
Against all odds
I'm hopin my true motherfuckers know
This be the realest shit I ever wrote
Against all odds, up in the studio, gettin blowed
To the truest shit I ever spoke
[repeat]
Against all odds
[Twenty-one gun salute]
One love to my true thug niggas (Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw!)
Twenty-one gun salute to my niggas that die in the line of duty
Representin to the fullest bein soldiers with military minds
that play the rules of the game, twenty-one gun salute
I salute you my niggas, stay strong
I ride for you, I rhyme for you, I roll for you, it's all for you
To all you bitch made niggas, I'm comin for you
Against all odds, I don't care who the fuck you is, nigga
You touch me I'm at you
I know you motherfuckers think that I forgot
Hell no I ain't forgot nigga
I just remember what you told me
You said don't go to war unless I got my money behind me
Aight, I got my money right here, now I want war

Do You Know Tupac's Real Name? And Do You Know His Real Biological Father? Look at the resemblance.
2pac was not born with the name that made him popular.
William “Billy” Garland (born March 14, 1949) to African American parents. Garland’s great-grandparents were the “first generation immigrant” Sub-Saharan African-Americans.
He was given the birth surname “Garland” meaning “The Crown of a King” for his kinship-relation and lineage of a royal descent to the Sub-Saharan African kingdom called the Garamantes civilization, modern the direct descent of today Tuareg people.
He was a black activist belonging to the Black Panther Party, maintained a relationship with Afeni Shakur (also affiliated with the party) and is the biological father of Lesane Parish Crooks, who is better known as Tupac Shakur. Garland did very little to help raise his son, only seeing him a few times until Tupac was around the age of 5.
He didn’t see Tupac again until he starred in the movie ‘Juice’ in 1992. He later visited Shakur in Bellevue Hospital when he was shot in 1994. Shakur was told by his Mother that his father was dead. Garland claimed that The Notorious B.I.G. approached him at the hospital while visiting Tupac, and he believed that he wasn’t involved in the shooting.
Tupac mentioned William Garland once.
“I thought my father was dead all my life. After I got shot, I looked up there was this nigga that looked just like me. And he was my father; that’s when I found out. We still didn’t take no blood test but the nigga looked just like me and the other nigga’s dead so now I feel that I’m past the father stage.”
After Tupac’s death, Afeni and Billy sent his blood to Long Beach Genetics. A laboratory tested Shakur’s DNA and found out the probability of Afeni and Billy 99.97% parentage. Also after Tupac Shakur’s death, Billy Garland took Afeni Shakur to court, claiming half of Tupac’s estate, but was denied.
The case ended in a settlement of around $540,000 plus legal fees, which totaled just over $350,000. Four days after Tupac’s death, Garland told Rolling Stone in an interview that he wanted people to focus on the rapper’s accomplishments. “My son is dead, and he don’t deserve to be talked about like some common criminal,” he said.

2Pacs's Tattoos. What Did He Write On His Body And Why.THUG LIFE’ – an acronym for ‘The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everybody’ is the most recognizable tattoo in music.
Tupac Shakur used his body to express himself through the use of tattoos.
Throughout his life,Tupac always searched for a means to fully express what went on in his extra active brain.
We take a look at the inks on the body of the most popular rapper ever.

We take a look at the inks on the body of the most popular rapper ever.
1. Back
A Cross, with the bible verse “Exodus 18:11″, which reads: “Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.”2. Upper right shoulder
3.Stomach
Tupac got his “Thug Life” tattoo in December, 1992 at Dago’s Tattoo in Houston. ‘THUG LIFE’ – an acronym for ‘The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everybody’ is the most recognizable tattoo in music. ‘”Inside my mind, couldn’t find a place to rest. Until I got that THUG LIFE tatted on my chest.” -2Pac
Tupac’s most famous tattoo, on his abs, reads “Thug Life.” Directly above it is another one, which reads “50 Niggaz.”
Those are both social movements, and the latter inspired the former.
“50 represented states,” Tupac's brother Mopreme said. “If we had one good nigga in
every state, we could accomplish anything.” 50 Niggaz developed and morphed into Thug Life, he went on, adding that when their friend Big Kato was murdered in 1993,
it set Thug Life into overdrive. “It was really supposed to be about
saving thugs’ lives,” Mopreme added. “A lot of people got the message,
but a whole lot didn’t.”
4.Chest
Tupac was 18 years old, he got his first tattoo, a simple “2Pac” inscription on his left chest.
This chest piece, Queen Nefertiti,
symbolizes black grace and excellence and represents his love for his
mother Afeni Shakur. The text comes from the lyric above in his song ‘Something 2 Die 4’ – “You know what my momma used to tell me. If ya can’t find something to live for…. then you BEST, find something ta die for” -2pac

Denmark Unveils First Black Monument.Jamaican Mary Thomas Is Recognized As 'Queen Rebel'
Majority of the monuments in Denmark represent “white males” and that is why this “Queen Rebel” statue is so significant.
A statue of a woman nearly 7,000-meters tall has been erected in Denmark to commemorate the revolt against Danish colonial rule in the Caribbean.
The sculpture was inspired by Mary Thomas, known as one of “the three queens.” Thomas, along with two other female leaders, unleashed an uprising in 1878 called the “Fireburn.” Fifty plantations and most of the town of Frederiksted in St. Croix were burned, in what has been called the largest labor revolt in Danish colonial history.
“This project is about challenging Denmark’s collective memory and changing it,” says La Vaughn Belle, one of artists who designed the statue. She teamed up with Jeannette Ehlers for the project.

The unveiling comes at the end of a centennial year commemorating the sale by Denmark of three islands to the United States on March 3, 1917: St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas. The price: $25 million.
Though
Denmark prohibited trans-Atlantic slave trafficking in 1792, it did not
rush to enforce the ban. The rule took effect 11 years later, and
slavery continued until 1848.
“They
wanted to fill the stocks first” and ensure enough slaves would remain
to keep plantations running, said Niels Brimnes, an associate professor
at Aarhus University and a leading expert on colonialism in Denmark.
Three
decades after slavery formally ended on what today are known as the
United States Virgin Islands, conditions for the former slaves had not
improved significantly.
That continued injustice fomented the uprising on St. Croix.
Mary
Thomas was tried for her role in the rebellion and ferried across the
Atlantic to a women’s prison in Copenhagen. The statue created in
tribute to her, called “I Am Queen Mary,” sits in front of what was once a warehouse for Caribbean sugar and rum, just more than a mile from where she was jailed.
The only other tribute to Denmark’s colonies or those who were colonized is a statue of a generic figure from Greenland.
“This project is about challenging Denmark’s collective memory and changing it,” says La Vaughn Belle, one of artists who designed the statue. She teamed up with Jeannette Ehlers for the project.

Youtube introduces background change function on stories.Say goodbye to green screen.Demo Video Included
Researchers know how much people like to trick others into thinking they’re on the moon, or that it’s night instead of day, and other fun shenanigans only possible if you happen to be in a movie studio in front of a green screen. So they did what any good 2018 coder would do: build a neural network that lets you do it.
This “video segmentation” tool, as they call it (well, everyone does) is rolling out to YouTube Stories on mobile in a limited fashion starting now — if you see the option, congratulations, you’re a beta tester.
A lot of ingenuity seems to have gone into this feature. It’s a piece of cake to figure out where the foreground ends and the background begins if you have a depth-sensing camera (like the iPhone X’s front-facing array) or plenty of processing time and no battery to think about (like a desktop computer).
On mobile, though, and with an ordinary RGB image, it’s not so easy to do. And if doing a still image is hard, video is even more so, since the computer has to do the calculation 30 times a second at a minimum.
Well, Google’s engineers took that as a challenge, and set up a convolutional neural network architecture, training it on thousands of labelled images like the one to the right.
The network learned to pick out the common features of a head and shoulders, and a series of optimizations lowered the amount of data it needed to crunch in order to do so. And — although it’s cheating a bit — the result of the previous calculation (so, a sort of cutout of your head) gets used as raw material for the next one, further reducing load.
The result is a fast, relatively accurate segmentation engine that runs more than fast enough to be used in video — 40 frames per second on the Pixel 2 and over 100 on the iPhone 7 (!).
This is great news for a lot of folks — removing or replacing a background is a great tool to have in your toolbox and this makes it quite easy. And hopefully it won’t kill your battery.

Review of the book called Growth Hacker by Ryan Holiday
Growth Hacker Marketing by Ryan Holiday
Easy to read: ★★★★
Easy to understand: ★★★★
This was a quick read but does require a bit of focus to fully absorb all of the concepts.
Relevant during the age of social media: ★★★★★
Yes, this book relies entirely on social media tactics. If you are looking to create growth online for a product, series, or concept, these tactics will apply at least loosely to you.
Relevant for an independent artist: ★★★
If you are looking to create any sort of marketed product as an artist, these concepts should be able to apply to you. The book spends a great deal of time focusing on apps, and particularly large mass marketed apps, but the underlying concepts can be taken and applied to whatever you are trying to market.
The general idea is to find your core audience, market exclusively, directly, and powerfully to them, and then design your product so that it will spread itself from there. Create ways that people will want to share your product for you. Focus on the people who are the best fit and they will do the work for you, rather than trying to market to everybody (as the vast majority of the world will not be the best fit for your product).
As an artist, this means asking questions like “who is the target audience for my artwork? Where do they congregate? How can I target them directly? Why should they want to share my artwork?”
Relevant for a small and/or independent art or media company: ★★★★
If you are creating any sort of app or website, there will be information for you. If you are creating video content, a book, an album, and sort of product that needs to be marketed, there will be information for you.
Relevant for running a kickstarter, patreon, or indiegogo: ★★★★
Though these are never covered by name, the concepts in the book can be, perhaps, MOST easily applied to these crowdfunding projects for an independent artist. If you plan to run any sort of crowdfunding campaign, I recommend at least skimming this book for ideas.
Relevant for selling and advertising a product: ★★★★★
Yes, this is precisely the main focus of the book.
Main takeaways from the book:
Find a product that is a good fit for your target audience first. It has to be something that your audience will want to share and propagate themselves. Be iterative with your refinement process, putting work out into the world to test and then improving it based on feedback until you have a solid product-market fit. Design share-ability into your product so that it becomes an inherent part of the loop. From there, people will spread the word of your product for you. Focus on the people who are the best fit for your product; retaining them and inspiring them to spread the word for you will lead to success.
I would recommend this book to:
-Someone running any sort of art or media related Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign
-Someone trying to sell any sort of art related product online
-Someone trying to spread the word about their art and get more social media interaction
-Someone as a primer, if they are interested in learning more about growth hacking
